MEET CHARLES BROWN

Chas has been a hairdresser since 1967. He received his bachelor’s degree in education from California University of Pennsylvania in 1975. He worked as a middle school and high school teacher for 2 years. In 1977 he went back to his true love of hairdressing and in 1980 started his own business – Chas For Hair.
Chas continues his education in the beauty industry by attending seminars in New York City, Orlando, Chicago, and Las Vegas as well as local educational workshops.
Chas has been certified as an educator for Keune Haircosmetics. Keune Haircosmetics is an independent family owned Dutch producer of hair care products for the professional hair stylist. Established in 1922 by Jan Keune, one of the founders of the perm formula, Keune has developed into a multi-national company specializing in high quality professional hair care products for the beauty industry.
As an educator for Keune, Chas instructs professional hair dressers in the proper use of Keune products specializing in hair color. This position requires Chas to travel locally and internationally. Chas must continue his education in order to remain aware of the current styles and fashion trends in the beauty industry.
